Therapy Rooted in Connection, Understanding, and Lasting Change.
I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling safe, understood, and genuinely connected. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach rooted in attachment.
About Kate
Growing up, I found myself fascinated by family dynamics and why people do what they do. I’ve always had a deep curiosity about people — their stories, relationships, and hopes for change. That curiosity led me to the field of therapy, where I've spent more than 15 years helping individuals and couples better understand themselves, their emotions, and the patterns shaping their relationships.
In addition to my work with individuals and couples, I have completed advanced training in perinatal mental health and enjoy supporting clients through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum transitions, birth trauma, and pregnancy loss.

Life Outside the Office
When I'm not in the therapy office, you'll usually find me chasing after my two boys, spending time with family, or enjoying the slower pace of life here in Salisbury. Returning to my hometown after many years in Charlotte has been a meaningful full-circle experience, and I'm grateful to serve the community that helped shape me.
Like many of my clients, I’ve experienced seasons of change that have been both challenging and transformative. That perspective helps me bring both professional expertise and genuine compassion to the work I do with clients.
